Delete Account
OmniColor has no accounts. Here is what that means and how to clear any locally stored data.
There Is No Account to Delete
OmniColor has never had user accounts, sign-up forms or logins. There is nothing on our servers to delete. But we understand you may want to remove all data related to OmniColor from your device — here is how.
What Data OmniColor Stores on Your Device
All data OmniColor stores is in your browser's localStorage. This includes:
- Saved favorite colors (from the color picker)
- Recent color history
- Cookie consent preference
- Theme preferences (if you have set any)
How to Clear Your Local OmniColor Data
Option 1: Clear site data for OmniColor
This is the cleanest approach — clears only OmniColor data, not your entire browser.
Chrome / Edge / Brave
- Click the lock icon in the address bar (or press the three-dot menu)
- Click "Site settings" or "Cookies and site data"
- Click "Clear data" or "Delete"
Firefox
- Click the lock icon in the address bar
- Click "Clear cookies and site data..."
- Confirm
Safari
- Open Settings (Safari menu → Settings)
- Go to Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Search for "omnicolor" and click Remove
Option 2: Clear all browser data
If you want to clear everything, most browsers have a "Clear browsing data" option in Settings. This clears all site data across all websites — not just OmniColor.
Option 3: Developer Tools
For a more surgical approach:
- Press F12 to open Developer Tools
- Go to Application tab (Chrome) or Storage tab (Firefox)
- Click Storage → Local Storage → omnicolor.pages.dev
- Right-click and select "Clear"
What Data Remains After Clearing
After clearing local storage, the following data may still exist:
- Server logs (Cloudflare): Your IP address may appear in server logs for up to 30 days. This is required for security and abuse prevention and is automatically deleted.
- Emails you have sent us: If you have contacted us by email, those messages remain in our inbox until you ask us to delete them (see data request).
- Third-party cookies: If you accepted advertising cookies, ad networks may have their own cookies. Clear those through your browser or through the ad network's opt-out tool.
How to Prevent Future Storage
If you want to prevent OmniColor from storing any data at all:
- Browse in private/incognito mode — localStorage is cleared automatically when you close the window
- Disable JavaScript — but this breaks the tools, which rely on it
- Block OmniColor from setting cookies/storage in your browser's site settings
- Decline advertising cookies in the consent banner — no advertising cookies will be set
Data Request
If you also want us to delete any server-side or email data we may hold about you, please submit a data request. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA).
