Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OmniColor (omnicolor.pages.dev), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.

Description of Service

OmniColor is a free online color tools platform providing color pickers, converters, palette generators, gradient builders, accessibility checkers, and related utilities. All tools run entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not store your design work on our servers.

Use of the Service

You agree to use OmniColor only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party. Prohibited uses include:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
  • Using the site to break any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmitting any malicious code, virus or harmful data
  • Attempting to scrape, overload or disrupt the service
  • Removing, obscuring or manipulating advertising or attribution
  • Using the site to infringe copyright or intellectual property

Intellectual Property

The OmniColor website design, layout, code, branding and original content are the property of OmniColor and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our site without permission.

Colors and palettes you generate: Colors themselves are not copyrightable. Palettes, gradients, extracted color lists and design tokens that you generate using OmniColor are yours to use freely in personal and commercial projects. We claim no rights over them.

Third-party content: Color names, framework palettes (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material) and color theory references are used under fair use and are attributed to their respective creators.

No Warranty

OmniColor is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be available without interruption or error
  • The color conversions or accessibility checks are guaranteed to meet any specific legal or regulatory standard
  • Any errors in the tools will be corrected immediately

While we have implemented accurate color mathematics and follow WCAG formulas where applicable, you are responsible for verifying output in your specific production context.

Accessibility Information

Our contrast checker and accessibility tools use the standard WCAG 2.2 relative luminance formula and give mathematically accurate ratios. However, WCAG compliance also depends on font size, weight, viewing conditions and user context. Use our tools as a starting point, not as a substitute for a full accessibility audit.

Advertisements

OmniColor is free to use and is supported by advertising. By using the site you agree to see advertisements unless you have enabled an ad-blocker. Advertising placements are managed centrally and never overlay the actual tool content.

Third-Party Links

OmniColor contains links to third-party websites for reference and convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or accuracy of any third-party site. Links do not imply endorsement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmniColor and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OmniColor and its operators from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuance.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
