What Is an Image Color Picker?
An image color picker lets you sample colors directly from a photo, screenshot or design file. Instead of guessing a hex code, you click on the exact pixel you want and the tool reads the color value from the image data. This is essential for matching brand colors from a logo, extracting a palette from a photograph, or repainting an illustration.
Privacy First
Every image you upload to OmniColor is processed locally using the HTML5 Canvas API. The file never leaves your browser — there is no server, no upload, and no tracking. You can use this tool fully offline once the page loads.
How to Use
- Click the drop zone or drag an image onto it.
- The image is loaded onto a canvas.
- Click any pixel to see its HEX, RGB and HSL values.
- Scroll down to see the 10 most dominant colors extracted from the image.
- Click any extracted color to copy its HEX code.
