Complete attribution for every image, icon, font and visual asset used on OmniColor.

Our Assets Are Original or Programmatic

The vast majority of visual assets on OmniColor fall into one of three categories:

  • Programmatically generated: Color swatches, palettes, gradients and preview areas are rendered by JavaScript from color data — not stored as image files.
  • Custom SVGs: Every icon on the site is a hand-drawn SVG created specifically for OmniColor. We do not use Font Awesome, Heroicons, Feather Icons or any third-party icon library.
  • Original graphics: Open Graph social preview images and any illustrations are created by our team.

Icons

All SVG icons in /assets/icons/ were drawn by the OmniColor team. They are simple geometric shapes (circles, lines, paths) that are not copyrightable in most jurisdictions and are released under the CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication.

If you want to reuse any OmniColor icon in your own project, you may do so freely — no attribution required, though it is always appreciated.

Fonts

Both fonts are self-hosted (not loaded from Google Fonts or any CDN) for privacy and performance reasons.

Open Graph Images

All social preview images in /assets/images/og/ were created by the OmniColor team using our own color tools. They are released under the CC BY 4.0 license — you may reuse them with attribution to OmniColor.

Hero and Illustration Images

Images in /assets/images/hero/ and /assets/images/illustrations/ (if any) are:

  • Original graphics created by the OmniColor team
  • Or generated programmatically as CSS gradients and vector shapes

None are from external stock photo services (no Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, iStock or Shutterstock).

Third-Party Framework Color Swatches

On pages that reference Tailwind, Bootstrap and Material Design color palettes, the color values themselves come from those frameworks' published specifications. The visual swatches on our pages are rendered programmatically from those values. No framework image assets are used.

User-Uploaded Images

When you upload images to OmniColor tools (color picker, palette extractor, brand color extractor), those images:

  • Are processed entirely in your browser
  • Are never uploaded to any server
  • Are never stored, tracked or logged by us
  • Are not redistributed in any form

You own the images you upload. We claim no rights over them and never see them.

Attribution Required?

For the vast majority of our assets: no attribution required. Our icons are CC0. Our generated graphics are program-generated. We do not use third-party images that require attribution.

If you want to reuse our Open Graph images (CC BY 4.0), attribution is technically required but a simple link back to https://omnicolor.pages.dev is sufficient.
