Community Guidelines
How we expect everyone interacting with OmniColor to behave.
In Short
Be respectful. Assume good faith. Focus on the work, not the person. That is basically it.
For the complete expectations and consequences, see our Code of Conduct.
Scope
These guidelines apply to:
- Emails sent to any OmniColor address
- Contact form and feedback form submissions
- Guest article pitches and contributions
- Social media interactions with OmniColor accounts
- Future community spaces (forums, chat, etc.)
Do
- Report bugs clearly with reproduction steps
- Suggest features with real use cases
- Ask questions — there are no stupid ones
- Give credit when you reference others' work
- Be patient with response times
- Disagree constructively
Do Not
- Harass, threaten or intimidate anyone
- Post spam or promotional content unrelated to OmniColor
- Spread misinformation intentionally
- Share someone's private information without consent
- Use slurs, hate speech or discriminatory language
- Repeatedly demand changes without explaining why
- Send the same message across multiple channels
Moderation Philosophy
- Most issues are misunderstandings — we start with clarification, not judgment
- Context matters — intent and impact both count
- We act on patterns, not single incidents — one bad day does not get someone banned
- We are consistent — same rules apply to everyone
Reporting
If you experience a violation, please report it:
- Email: conduct@omnicolor.pages.dev
