Gradient Color Picker
Pick colors from any gradient by clicking on it. Great for finding intermediate colors, harmonizing with existing gradients, and reading exact gradient values at any position.

What Is a Gradient Color Picker?
A gradient color picker lets you click on any gradient to sample the exact color at that position. Unlike a standard color picker (which chooses from a full spectrum), a gradient color picker samples only the specific colors present in your gradient — which is exactly what you need when you want a mid-point color, a border color that matches, or a text color that harmonizes with the gradient.
How to Use This Tool
- Paste a CSS gradient into the input field or click one of the presets.
- Click anywhere on the gradient preview.
- The exact color at that horizontal position is captured as HEX.
- Copy the HEX value to use in your design.
Uses for Gradient Color Picking
- Harmonize with a gradient: Pick a color from a hero gradient to use for buttons or borders.
- Find midpoint colors: Identify the 50% color of any gradient.
- Sample stops: Extract intermediate colors from AI-generated or exported gradients.
- Contrast testing: Pick a gradient color and test it against text with a contrast checker.
- Design consistency: Match adjacent elements to specific gradient regions.
